Two new Cloud views

Joe  Weinman invented the term ‘cloudonomics’ (a cross between cloud and freakonomics). Here he reveals the Lazy, hazy, crazy: the 10 laws of behavioural cloudonomics. Why whe don’t want to do do it; but why we will be doing it eventually.

In response and a clarion call to action comes from Bernard Golden who specialises in virtualisation and cloud computing. He writes in Cloud computing the dangers of irrational economics:

Cloud comptuing calls for visionary leadership with its eyes on the future and a willingness to upset the apple cart. Shrinking from its opportunities and challenges is a recipe for irrelevancy and obsolescence.
